Today SI PT Members visited Plas Llanelly House. A beautifully restored Georgian townhouse nestled in the centre of Llanelli, full of character and local history. We were given an excellent tour and were regaled with stories of past residents.
The house was built in the early 1700s, and has seen centuries of change, from grand family gatherings to the local town’s industrial rise. Today, the historic Home welcomed our Club members. We received a warm welcome and took a turn about the rooms like the ladies of Bridgeton, relaxing in the inviting atmosphere, and taking the opportunity to step back in time. We enjoyed a tasty Christmas lunch in its beautifully restored rooms; it truly is a Welsh Georgian Gem.
