In June our speaker was Samantha Woodend From Helmshore Recycling who told us all about how we can “do our bit” to save the planet by recycling many items which we cannot put in our Council bins. she is a drop off point for such items which she parcels up and sends to Terracycle to be used again. By doing so she is awarded points which can be exchanged for money to give to charities.
