The Centenary Fun Walk evolved from an idea originally proposed by Soroptimist International Chester to celebrate 100 years of Soroptimism.
The walk took place in September 2021 and it was decided that all 3 parts of the Region, Cheshire, North Wales and the Wirral, would be offered the opportunity of taking part in a walk of 100 miles+ which would culminate at Llandudno. It was designed as an inclusive fun event to involve members, family and friends.
Collectively, members of SI Rhyl & District walked a total of 86 miles along sections of the North Wales Coastal Path.
