This year our themed quiz was an absolute sell out filling a very pink and red Dunchurch Village Hall to the brim.

We want to thank everyone who came and supported such a great evening with specific thanks to the organising team led admirably by SI Rugby member Wendy Kay. Huge thanks also go to Jan Bowen for being the ever competent quiz master and for the innovative Valentine’s – themed quiz rounds along with Janet Hodgson as our runner, and to Nanette Craig for her calm hand at the helm of the ‘marking and scoring’ ship!

Over 80 enthusiastic players took part in the quiz and enjoyed a delicious fish supper from Waves Fish Bar in Cawston. They did a sterling job of delivering over 100 piping hot portions fish & chips to the door.

We hope the money raised will help the Hill Street Youth & Community Centre in Rugby with the Summer Activities programme that they have run for the past two years. The programme provides young people with the opportunity to take part in sports and games, try a variety of activities as well organise trips to local attractions. We hope our donation will help the centre run the summer activities scheme in 2017.

The quiz is one of many fund raising activities we organise over the course of the year for a range of local, national and international charities.
