The club supports a number of charities both national and international.
We have members who give time to Hospitality and Hope, a charitable soup kitchen based in South Shields. Members donate dried foodstuffs, coffee, tea, rice etc.
Two members also read for South Tyneside Talking Newspaper.
This year the club continues to support the food bank making donations of food and every year we donate selection boxes and Easter Eggs for local children.
This year we have also donated gifts to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
We also donated to regional and international projects.
