Members of Stafford Soroptimists joined a vigil held in the Market Square in Stafford, to show our solidarity with Ukraine in its dark times. As well as a moving address from John Marshall, with a prayer was followed by a heartfelt plea for ongoing help, and thanks for all the UK’s support from a Ukrainian lady who has lived in Stone for 5 years. Many were moved to tears and donations of good and money were collected, which will go via the White Eagle Polish Club in Stafford straight to refugees in Poland.
