Travelling back from a friendship weekend with our link club in Guernsey, members of SI Stockport, plus sundry husbands, were amazed to see two of the BBC Eggheads quiz team in the airport.
While waiting with Myra for her wheelchair assistance, Pat and ‘Tremendous Knowledge’ Dave posed for a photo opportunity. Instantly, they remembered that a team from our region had taken part in the current series, yet to be televised. Not only did they remember the occasion, but also the individual members of the SI Ramsbottom team ….. I wonder why? However, they were tight lipped about the outcome, so watch this space!
