Club President, Jenny, went to St Georges residential home to take some bedsocks. She met four of the residents and had her photo taken with each of them.They were delighted especially when she told them they were a gift!.
Barbara knew about Soroptimists as she had met them a while back when they were on ‘The Bridge’! She thought that it was a great idea to have a women’s group and especially one that helped women and girls.
Who’d have thought knitting a pair of bedsocks could have given so much pleasure to so many people?
