How wonderful to meet up, even by Zoom, to celebrate Christmas, even though not all of us could be there. We each wore something festive, and came with our thoughts about what Christmas means to us, with an object to demonstrate this.  We even managed to sing more-or-less together.

A beautiful sunny day shortly after the first lockdown lifted, provided the perfect excuse for a meet-up.  Here are some of us enjoying time together and the delicious food and drink at Tiverton’s Canal Tea Rooms.

Each year the Tiverton and District Soroptimists organise a May walk along our beautiful canal tow path to raise awareness, enjoy a good natter and have a delicious drink and slice of cake at the Canal Tea Rooms afterwards, just visible behind us to the right of the photos.  Last year we had glorious weather.  This year we were still in lockdown, but it’s good to have a reminder of easier times and look forward to doing this again in the future.
