Members of the Club joined with WOW (Women of Wolverhampton) – www.wowonline.org.uk at the City’s Art Gallery to celebrate International Women’s Day.
We took along our leaflets on the Purple Teardrop Campaign and shared our space with Amnesty International and The Haven. During the morning there were a series of Poetry Readings, an introduction to Zumba and Bellydancing displays. Other organisations were on hand to give help, advice and support on personal and business issues. Plus there were craft workshops for old and young alike. It was a well attended and enjoyable day, with a film from Amnesty International, showing in the evening at The Lighthouse.
