Elvis Is In The Building ! Aloha!
A fabulous evening of fun and friendship was held at Mixopoly Bangor Cricket Club on Saturday 19 October to raise money for President Diane’s charity Breast Cancer Care at Ysbyty Gwynedd. With the ‘Hawaiian’ theme we were all greeted by Lin and Jenie with colourful Hawaiian Flower Garlands. Reverend Wynne Roberts Chaplain at Ysbyty Gwynedd (AKA THE Welsh Elvis) kept us entertained throughout the evening with his many wonderful Elvis favourites! A Big thank you to all who made this evening a great success not forgetting ELVIS and the wonderful staff at Mixopoly. Harlech Food service were also thanked for their part sponsorship of the delicious Charcuterie boards provided to graze on as Elvis melodied and rocked the house. The concert raised £1100.
All attendees were thanked for their generous support on the evening.
The Grand Prize Raffle draw raised £1400 and was made by President Diane assisted by Andy on the evening thanks to the support of fellow Soroptimists in securing wonderful prizes and selling out all the raffle tickets !
The total raised for the Aloha concert and Grand Raffle Prize Draw was £2500.
