S.I. Cirencester & District is a vibrant, friendly club. The club was Chartered in 1948, a daughter club of SI Gloucester which has since closed. The Club has friendship links with SI/Europe Ogre-Kegums, Latvia, SI/Europe, Itzehoe, Germany, SI Hafnarfjordur and Gardabaer  in Iceland and with S.I Durham in the UK…

Cirencester twinning Association

Cirencester Twinning association welcomes new members.

Making new links between its partners in Itzehoe near Hamburg in Germany and in St Genis Laval, near Lyon in France is the plan for 2026

The Churn Project | Sociable Stroll, Ageing Well Service Friendship Cafe + Memory Cafe:

Provides information on the suggested events above. A gentle, guided 1‑hour walk around different local routes, promoting light exercise, fresh air, and social connections. Wheelchair, buggy & dog‑friendly. A relaxed “tea & chat” drop‑in for older residents to make friends, reduce isolation, and enjoy a cup of tea.

A Splash Of Red Ladies Choir:

Provide a welcoming platform for women in Stratton St Margaret to connect, learn, develop skills, and take collective action on matters that matter—both locally and nationally

 

Our membership fee is £12 per member from 1st April each year, whether single or joint membership (two individuals living at the same address). If you join between 1st January and 31st March the fee is £18 per member for up to 15 months.

Note:  There may be further fees where a Group hires facilities or requires learning materials.

Cirencester Ladies Probus Group:

A warm and welcoming group of retired and semi-retired professional women, gathering for coffee and an engaging speaker-led talk, typically from 10:00 – 11:30 am. Themes range from local history and culture to travel, art, and personal interest stories, followed by a friendly coffee and chat

Cirencester Phoenix Women Institute:

A free, non-medical support initiative designed to assist individuals aged 16 and over in Gloucestershire. It focuses on enhancing well-being by connecting people to local services and community activities, particularly those facing challenges like loneliness, mental health concerns, or life changes such as retirement or redundancy.
