CELEBRATING 90 YEARS OF SOROPTIMIST SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY
We had our main celebration lunch at Pollock Halls, Edinburgh University on Saturday December 9 2017. We welcomed guests from all over Scotland and further afield, including SI Assistant Director of Advocacy Hafdis Karlsdottir from Iceland and Past International President Ann Garvie who happens to hail from Glasgow!
Other activities around that weekend focussed on fun and friendship – with a fish and chip supper on Friday evening to a walk in glorious crisp sunshine in the Scottish Borders.
It was an action packed week celebrating with so many friends all the service which members of SI Edinburgh had provided at home and abroad over 90 years.
