President Rosemary Braid and Honorary Secretary, Jeanette Lee attended the Inauguration of S I Club – Brighton and Hove,
on Sunday, 12th June 2016. The keynote speaker was Dr Helen Pankhurst (Great Great Granddaughter of Emily Pankhurst) who spoke of the advances in rights and status of women since 1918 and a charity she is involved with called CARE – Walk In Her Shoes.
Friendship and support for other clubs in the South East Region of SIGBI and beyond is one of the keystones of our organisation. It was a wonderful day, and lovely to welcome a new club to the Region.
