Members of SI Hallamshire have for many years now made quilts, bootees and hats for the baby unit at Sheffield Children’s hospital. During lockdown our members have been busy putting their skills to good use sewing baby quilts and knitting and crocheting baby hats and bootees. These items are given to babies on their arrival at the unit and when the babies go home they take the items with them. The new mothers appreciate the beautifully made, colourful items that their babies are given
