Yet again our Club is proud to have provided yet another Regional President! Helen Scourfield follows in the footsteps of a number of our members in this honour and we all wish her well in her term of office and look forward to suporting her in her varied and interesting programme.
To mark Helen’s appointment as President of SI Wales South we made a presentation to her at one of our dinner meetings. As Helen came into post at the International Conference at Edinburgh on 2nd November, 2024 we decided on a Scottish themed gift – a Quaich – which is Scotland’s Cup of Friendship. The quaich had been engraved for Helen and was presented together with some “Malt”, which was duly shared with members around the table!
During Helen’s first Regional Meeting of SI Wales South she introduced her theme for the year – “Empowering Women in Wales”
