We recently held a very successful photographic competition. The theme was Lockdown Lens, with photographers invited to record an image of their lockdown experience. Entries included beautiful scenes from walks, projects undertaken, clever images that evoked the emotions of being locked down, plus of course some quirky shots that made the judges smile. Choosing from a shortlist, President Deena selected ‘Sheepish’ by Richard Simpson as the worthy winner. Richard is a keen runner and chose a prize of a £50 voucher for County Sports to use on some trainers. The funds from the entry fees are being used to print greetings cards of this charming image of a flock of sheep taken on a walk near Broad Haven. The cards are available for £6 for a pack of 5, or two packs for £10, all proceeds will go to the group’s charitable projects. You can

Have you taken a photo while out on your lockdown exercise? Or have you got a picture of a project you’ve started during lockdown?  Enter Haverfordwest Soroptimist Photography Competition!  Win a £50 voucher for one of the following local businesses ( winner’s choice)  The Bristol Trader, Hotel Mariners, Boutique 1625, Window on Wales, Coronation Chippy, County Sports  plus the winning  image will be made into 5×7 inch cards, and sold in packs of 5 for £6, 10 for £10 The proceeds of selling the cards, along with the £5 entry fee will fund the Soroptimist project Technology for Schools. This aims to provide equipment for  local schools to support children being home schooled, or adjusting to education back in the classroom after so long away from the school environment.   CONDITIONS  Entries may be emailed to lockdownlens21@gmail.com before 31st March. On receipt, details and reference number will be given for paying the £5 entry fee to Soroptimist charity account
