Our 45th Charter lunch was held on the last Sunday in May at the Bedford Arms Hotel, at Chenies.
It was a beautiful sunny day and pre lunch drinks served in the garden were enjoyed by about 35 fellow Soroptimists, partners, and friends.
After a delicious lunch, a ‘Soroptimister’ proposed the toast of Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland, to which our Regional President, Laura Redhead, replied. Laura also gave us a roundup of recent Soroptimist activities.
Our guest speaker, Lady Hatch, then spoke of her life and of the charities with which she had been involved.
