Combatting Period Poverty

Kirkcaldy Foodbank has joined the country-wide campaign to combat period poverty by distributing feminine hygiene products to clients. They asked our club if we could donate some feminine hygiene products and we brought items to our meeting in the middle of May, and a week later these were handed over to Maureen Closs, a trustee with the Foodbank. Maureen said that the Foodbank is very pleased to be given such a large number of items and that they will be very gratefully received by their clients.
