Soroptimists International Medway and Maidstone are proud to support Zisize. Zisize which means ‘help yourself’ is based in Ingwavuma in the KwaZuluNatal province of South Africa.
SI Medway Towns have supported Zisize by providing finance for two rondavels which house visitors to the project and a vehicle used by staff for a variety of reasons including delivering food.
For our newer members, Jane and Julia met Niki at the SIGBI Federation conference in Durban, South Africa in 2001.
We have supported the charity ever since. Jane and Wanda have visited the Zisize project once and Julia has been twice.
SI Medway and Maidstone send money monthly as a club, and some of us individually, to support the feeding programme.
