BETTER TOGETHER
Henry Ford said
“Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success”
In a world where there are so many divisions, races, creeds, religions, where countries are pulling apart from each other, where our group and groups like us are losing members we should take time to reflect and assess what we need to do. Many of you will have had membership events and hopefully attracted new ladies to your club. These ladies need to be supported in the early days of their membership and along with established members nurtured and valued so that everyone believes they can contribute fully to the development of the their club.
The success that we achieve worldwide and the lives of women and girls that are transformed is because a great many women, just like those of Midland Chase have the foresight and drive to make things happen. We cannot accomplish all that we need to do without working together and supporting each other.
Each of the thirteen clubs in our Region has different strengths, abilities and experiences. Each one of them has something to share.
Your joint Presidents this year also have different strengths, abilities and experiences but are willing to work together for the good of the Region using their differences not to divide but to unite. We ask you as a Region who care about Soroptimism to come together, willing to share thoughts, ideas and accomplishments.
John Ruskin once said:
“When love and skill work together expect a masterpiece.”
We are not sure about the masterpiece but we do believe that we are
