Bilston & District

  • Providing Covid-19 support for vulnerable women & their families: Changing Lives & Di’s Kitchen
  • Empowering children with special needs – provision of a mud kitchen & personalised fiddle quilts
  • Educating and empowering a student in Panama to complete her studies as a medical professional
  • Encouraging the removal of plastic from members’ daily use as part of ongoing Planet projects
  • Supporting NHS & keyworkers during Covid-19: Scrub Bags, Ear Defenders & Masks for New Cross Hospital staff
  • Helping eliminate violence against women

Burton Upon Trent & District

  • Covid-19: Sewing scrub bags & masks and knitting bereavement hearts & mask mates for NHS and care home workers
  • Supporting Burton Upon Trent Mind through a fund raising coffee morning
  • Keeping up our climate change actions individually and at home
  • Donating money raised through table top and plant sales, and goods to our local YMCA to support their ongoing work with the homeless and food banks
  • Supporting and helping each other during the Covid-19 crisis to prevent isolation and loneliness

Cannock & District

  • Rotary Books4Homes – providing gifts of books for children who don’t have them at home
  • Environmental projects e.g. meat & fish free days, reduction of packaging and litter picking
  • Good Homes – Childrens’ Clothes
  • Strolling for St Giles Hospice
  • Covid-19 support for NHS and care workers
  • Covid-19 support for a local food bank and for Staffordshire Women’s Aid and The Pathway Project

Lichfield & District

  • Community Gardening Projects
  • Litter Picking across our district
  • Covid-19 support for NHS and care workers and other front line workers
  • Providing sanitary protection and Days For Girls Packs in UK and internationally
  • Dresses, school bags and other items for various international charities
  • Breast Cancer Now – Wear It Pink Virtual Fundraiser

Stafford

  • Covid-19: A wide range of support for front line workers and vulnerable people
  • Knitting of 44 scarves for Turkish Communities
  • Involvement with Drake Hall Women’s Prison and Angel Tree, in which gifts are distributed for children of prisoners.
  • Provision of Distraction Packs at Drake Hall Women’s Prison for the mentally distressed and possible suicide victims

Staffordshire Moorlands

Sutton Coldfield

  • Working with the Purple Community Fund in the Philipines : Various projects including Fundraising and making face masks
  • Covid-19: Sewing scrub bags and knitting bereavement hearts
  • Cancer Support Coffee Morning
  • Support for local food bank
  • Support for local Domestic Violence Unit

Tamworth

  • Socially-distanced tea party to raise money for Club charities
  • Donation to Tamworth Self Isolate Support Group for food
  • Helping Handbags  an ongoing project and also donating toiletries to The Tamworth Hygiene Bank
  • Collection of good quality bras for Smalls for All
  • Collection and delivery of used teabags for a South African craft project

Wolverhampton

  • Covid-19: Sewing scrub bags and shoe bags for NHS staff and knitting bereavement hearts

The Wrekin

  • Covid-19: Knitting bereavement hearts
  • Covid-19: Virtual Balloon Race Fundraiser
  • Covid-19: Supporting women who are suffering from or at risk of domestic violence – using social media and local radio & TV to signpost victims to services and creating a Phone a Friend Scheme
