Once again we joined in the BREAST CANCER NOW Campaign, Paint the Town Pink. Members of the club visited most of the businesses in Milford town, Charles Street and at Milford Marina and were delighted that over 40 businesses agreed to participate in the event. The shops and businesses were given Breast Cancer Now balloons and were asked to dress their windows pink in what ever way they could.
The photograph shows SI President, Erene Grieve, with the staff of the Crow’s Nest café on Milford Marina where the staff (even the men) all dressed in pink, decorated the tables with pink serviettes and sold pink iced cup cakes for the charity- a great effort.
We held a very successful Fashion Show at Image by Vanessa on Milford Marina later in the month where over £700 was raised. This amount will be divided between Breast Cancer Now and the Wales Air Ambulance. We would like to formally thank the town of Milford Haven for amazing support.
