Club Officers

Debbie Vines and Gill Thorne have agreed to share the role of President for 2019/20. their theme for the year is “Inspiring Women in the Community”.

Treasurer:Janet Hicks will continue to keep our finances in order. Congratulations Janet, all subs paid on time!

Secretary: Ann Maria Thomas will hold the position of Secretary for a further year, maintaining contact with Region and keeping up to date with SIGBI news. Thankfully Sheila will still produce our Club Newsletter which highlights the activities and events of the year.

Programme Action Officer:

Gill Bowen will continue in this role and with the help of the group leaders is building an interesting  programme for the coming year. We shall maintain our regular schedule of activities and support for local and regional initiatives such as Trafficking and Modern Day  Slavery.  We will continue to support long standing projects; volunteering at the Torch,  supporting PATCH and individual members do a variety of voluntary work in the community.

Friendship Officer: Ruth Morgan

Ruth keeps in touch with our Friendship Link Clubs all over the world, sending greetings and information on a regular basis.

Membership Officer: Joan Palmer.

Membership really does matter and May has been designated Membership Month. We hope that in the coming year we will grow as a club and assure the continued success of Soroptimism in Milford Haven.
