One of our members, Dr Vi Pritchard, celebrates 45 years as a club member. Now in her 90s Vi has been an active member of our club all this time. She was one of the first female medical students at London University and brought that pioneering spirit to everything she did for the club. One thing she is particularly proud of is establishing the Set up Science project, giving school children that chance to take part in a huge range of science related activities. This was an annual event inlocal primary and secondary schools every year during National Science Week over 15 years from 1995 to 2010. In 2007, the project won the Soroptimists International award for Education. She continues to be active, joining Zoom meetings and stitching for the Regional banner. Long may it continue!
