Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner Visit to SI Nantwich

At our dinner meeting at Richmond Village on Monday 24th November our guest was

Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Dan Price.

He discussed the following topics that our Club has put forward as most concerning to us:

Violence against women

County Lines

Modern Day Slavery

We welcomed guests from SI Northwich, SI Chester, SI Frodsham and Runcorn and other local guests to the event.

Dan addressed each of these issues in depth highlighting how they were being addressed in Cheshire so it was very relevant to the audience.
He was an enthusiastic speaker and very confident that the work he was overseeing was making a difference on the community level.

Dan also spoke about his latest project, the removing mobile phones during the day for high school pupils, known as PHONE FREE EDUCATION which is being very well received with new school signing up each week.

He also spoke about The Halton project working with perpetrators which is being run by MyCWA a charity we have long supported and work we know about.

President Maggie of SI Nantwich thanked Dan Price, in his role as Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner, for such an informative evening supporting women within our community.
