2017 – 19 These two years we did not have a President. This was unique in the Club’s history. So the Club tried out a different meeting format with just one meeting a month,combining the Business meeting with the Speaker meeting. After a Club vote at the end of the 2017- 18 year it was decided to revert to 2 meetings a month. This resulted in more members participating in the Executive meetings as it was decided that different members would chair the meetings, which would have normally been part of a president’s role. However, in 2019 – 2020 we are delighted to welcome Louise Parry as our 70th President. In her year of office she intends to achieve, through the Club lots of events and activities to celebrate the Club’s 70th anniversary.
