Let Me Bloom (Cheque Distribution 2024)

As the practice has been over the years of SI Poona Flagship Project, Let Me Bloom, this year too it was celebrated and the cheques were handed to the deserving candidates. Over the years the project is flourishing and the recipients are increasing. This definitely reflects the success of the project.

As agreed by the members mutually, it was decided that it will be celebrated on 6 September at Infinity Vista. There were 17 recipients of the Scholarships. There were 8 members who were new this year. Out of total 17 girls, 12 attended the function along with one guardian.

To grace the occasion, we invited chief guest Adv. Sahasrabudhe Mridula Mayuresh along with our guests of honor Farzana Parveen and Adv Nisrin Badshah.

The meeting started at 4:00 pm, with all the students along with their parents, Soroptimist sisters, Chief guest and guests of hounour. Dr Naina Athavle welcomed our chief and gave a brief introduction of the chief Guest and also the guests of honor, followed by their felicitation with a potted plant.

Proceeding further into the event there were small and motivating speeches by Adv Sahasrabhudhe. Farzana and Adv Nisrin to encourage the students. The Soroptimist sisters presented the cheques to each one of them and also motivated the students and asked them to stay strong and keep doing the
good job for the next academic year. As the speeches concluded, first to begin with 3 Students who had done exceptionally well were given special awards they were Ishita Sachin, Mohsina and Nisraga Kiran Khule, following which each student received their cheques.

As we were heading to towards concluding the evening Rashida Ansari the Club President had got a cake to celebrate birthday of those who were born in the month of August and September. Followed by distributing snacks which included
Sabudanawada, coconut barfi and chips along with tea and coffee.

To conclude the evening Aditi De thanked the Chief guest and guest of honor for their presence the parents who got their children all the way especially one who had come from Solapur. The event came to a closing and all the students and the club representatives dispersed for the evening and put an end to a grand celebration of the WORLD LITERACY DAY
