At the end of President Sue’s year in April 2020 the club decided which charities and organisations should benefit from the money raised during the year.
Because of the pandemic we were unable to hold our usual presentation evening but we have made sure the various organisations have received their monies to help them with their invaluable work during these troubled times.
The organizations/ charities benefiting to the tune of nearly £3000 are Rossendale Hospice, Bury Hospice, Shelterbox, Ramsbottom Cricket Club Junior Foundation, FortAlice ( Bury Women’s Aid), Greenmount Dementia Cafe, S.I.G.B.I.Project in Nepal, Little Voice and a very recent donation to buy material for making scrubs for the NHS.
