Have you read the December edition of SEE News?

As Soroptimists welcomed the New Year in, one of the first emails in 2023 was from our Regional Newsletter editor, Patricia Painting. She had been busy over the festive period producing the December edition of SEE News.

The Newsletter included a message from Regional President Lynne Chiswick on her visits to clubs in the region who had taken part in the ’16 Days of Action’.  They were moving and important events to show our solidarity with other organisations in opposing violence to women and girls and also helping raise local awareness about our role as Soroptimists in supporting the UN campaign.

There were articles from clubs across the Region about local activities such tree planting, support to Women’s Refuges and holding a Christmas Fair. Other activities had a wider national and international impact with Soroptimists writing to women in UK prisons and taking part in Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign.

Hope you enjoy reading the Newsletter that we are proud of across our Region…..
