President Alison attends Silent March in Canterbury

On the first day of the ’16 Days of Action’ (25 November) President Alison participated in the Silent March in Canterbury. This is to highlight the need to eliminate violence against women. There were more than 60 taking part in the Silent March. Despite the frosty weather Christmas shoppers were out in force. The silent walk of witness certainly made an impact: Awareness, Advocacy, Action.  Yes, all three boxes ticked but still so much more work needed before we can declare ‘mission accomplished’!
