Planned Activities – Watch This Space

Northumberland Domestic Abuse Advisory Service

We are currently collaborating with Morpeth Club to distribute and disseminate information regarding the recognition of signs of domestic abuse and publicising the help available to victims.

The plans are to print 5,000 bookmarks for distribution throughout Northumberland County via libraries, health centres, surgeries, schools and community and religious organisations. Morpeth and Tynedale Club members will organise the handover of the bookmarks with publicity drawing attention to the campaign, whilst NDAS will supply the bookmarks to schools through their existing network of visits.

Litter Pick – Improving the Environment

Plans are afoot for a litter pick in the centre of Hexham by Tynedale Soroptimists on Monday, 8th May 2017 at 18.00. This has been highlighted as a need by one of our members.

Economic Support – Tynedale Community Bank

Tynedale Soroptimists will be investing some Club funds in this newly established bank to allow micro loans to those in need in the community.
