Change of Regional Insignia of Presidents
The Change of Insignia at Narbeth was a colourful affair for the Region with the purple, green and white of the suffragettes in evidence. Rev Michael Brotherton told us of his ancestor Emily Wilding Davies and the horrors she endured as a suffragette before her accidental death. A reminder of what some women endured to give us more freedom and the right to vote in this Centenary Year. Actions speak louder than words. A magnificent tea was enjoyed by all.
