24 November- 6 December: Orange the World: 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence
The global theme set by the UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE campaign is “#OrangeTheWorld: End Violence against Women Now!”

6 December – End Violence Against Women (EVAW)
10 December – UN Human Rights Day

Global Club Links
Our Club is part of the worldwide network of Soroptimist International. This non-political organisation takes a firm stance on a number of subjects relating to women and girls (more at National Federation, SIGBI).
SI Woking & District cooperates with the other clubs in the Southern Region of Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, and has Friendship Links with the Soroptimist Clubs of SI Durban and SI Pretoria Tshwane in South Africa.
