Blankets for Ethiopia

We have set a new target for the blankets we will send to the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia!

We now aim to send 30 colourful blankets to comfort the women of all ages helped by the hospital.

The Hamlin Fistula Hospital was set up by Catherine Hamlin and her husband.

At her 90th birthday party in 2014, Catherine Hamlin told those gathered: “We have to eradicate Ethiopia of this awful thing that is happening to women: suffering – untold suffering in the countryside. I leave this with you to do in the future, to carry on.”
