Following an inspirational day in conference, excellent speakers and an afternoon voting, delegates left the Armadillo building and processed across the river Clyde to the Science Centre.
Delegates lit the route with glow sticks crossing the bridge and were piped into the venue by the Glasgow High School Band. The atmosphere was electric and the welcome from the venue hosts was second to none. Soroptimists were seen trying out various scientific exercises, ranging from balancing bodies, reactive responses and heart rhythm graph. The wine flowed, the laughter continued as old and new friends chatted. Today Soroptimists definitely delivered the difference.

A fascinating evening at the Science Museum, where we had our friendship event. Ladies were testing their skills and reflexes. Do you know that the skin is your first line in defence?
We got serious with recording our own heart beats, but most if all it was an opportunity to catch up with old friends. Kings Lynn wanted to know about the Kori Project so I put her in touch with a member from SI Thames Valley and a rendezvous was arranged for tomorrow lunch time.
