Wow – Thank you Harrogate Borough Council Parks and Environment Dept for a fantastic display of flowers to celebrate 100 years.
The display is on Montpellier Hill, near the famous Bettys tearoom. It was great to meet Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate, Cllr Trevor and Janet Chapman along with the Sue Wood and her team of gardeners. They spent 8 hours laying out and planting the colourful display. We met Cllr Andy Paraskos who is the council lead for Parks and Environment.
The nearby Information Board lets people know more about who we are and what we do. What a great way to celebrate Soroptimist International’s Centennial year.
