All members of SI Haverfordwest have been extremely proud this year to have one of our own leading us at Regional Level.  One of our longstanding members, Heidi Lewis, has just completed an extremely successful year as President of SI Wales South.  Despite the extremely challenging times we have all faced as a result of Covid Heidi has led us cheerfully and extremely productively through the last 12 months.  She may not have been able to pay visits in person to the 16 Clubs in our Region but she has certainly made her mark – not only within Region but also much further afield. Back in 2018 our Club President was Heidi Lewis and one of her chosen charities was Medical Detection Dogs so we sponsored a puppy to be trained up.  We recently received one of our regular updates from the Charity telling us how Misty is getting on.  We’re delighted with the progress she’s making ………… PUPPY UPDATE Misty is now 2 years old and what a busy time she’s had! Over the past year, Misty has been out and about as much as possible as she continues her assistance dog apprenticeship with Medical Detection Dogs. Now that lockdown is easing, we are able to get out and about with the dogs in training again. Misty is enjoying her experiences and has recently been on the bus and the train. Recently, at our first face to face meeting for over 15 months, Long Service Certificates were handed out to a number of members.  10 of our members have clocked up  a total of 360 years between them.  (Certificates are awarded to members who achieve 25 years’ service and at 5 year intervals thereafter).  Not all were present at our meeting but here are some photos of those who were.
