Susan Dunne of Pet the Pony gave us a talk about how she first started this project and how she hopes to build it to charitable status. She explained that whilst working in a local Care Home she realised that patients often missed contact with pets and other animals. She has two British miniature spotted ponies which she takes to schools and care homes where they are welcomed.
A DVD was shown of the news item from ITV’s Calendar programme when they visited the Yorkshire Disabled unit at St. Ives, Bingley. Photographs were shown of the ponies as they were not allowed into K.R.U.F.C.
