On Saturday 8th March club members took over the voluntary roles at the King’s Lynn Parkrun. As this was International Women’s Day with a theme of ‘Accelerate Action’ it seemed very appropriate.
On a bright and dry morning Soroptimists put on their Hi-Viz and took on various roles including marshals, timekeepers, tail walkers, and finish token issuers There was a good turnout with runners and walkers of all ages, and levels of fitness, and a great atmosphere.
It was an opportunity for the club to be seen out in the community, and we received some excellent publicity
