As part of a Regional initiative to raise awareness about the prevention of violence against women and girls, we will be selling orange flower brooches at the Regional AGM on 20 September at £2.50 each.
These will be ideal for members to wear during the 16 Days of Activism in November and on 25th of each month as we mark ‘Orange the World’.
If you want a supply of the orange brooches for your members or for an event you are planning then contact Jane Barnes on barnes786@btinternet.com by 8th September, so she can ensure she has sufficient available at the Regional meeting.
All proceeds raised will be going towards Women’s Aid and we hope to raise £200 with your support.
Women’s Aid are working to end domestic abuse. Together, we can keep women and children safe. As a federation Women’s Aid provide life-saving services across England and work tirelessly to change attitudes and the law so that in the future, domestic abuse doesn’t exist.
