10 – 16 May is Mental Health Awareness week and will focus on reconnecting with nature. For the month of May and beyond, members of SI Middlesbrough will try to carry out acts of kindness to promote mental wellbeing. Programme Action Report for AGM 2021This last year has certainly proved to be a challenge, not only with the Covid 19 pandemic restrictions but many of our club members have been affected by loss, ill health and difficult circumstances. Taking all these issues into consideration, it is heart warming to reflect on the diversity, quality and sheer volume of work that has taken place. We are a voluntary organisation and our members do as much as they can, when they can.We are asked to focus our Programme Action on the “5 Ps”: People, Prosperity, Planet, Peace and Partnership and all our projects have these themes at their core. The 5 Ps are based on the sustainable development goals that were adopted by all United Nation member states in 2015 in working towards ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring that all people can enjoy peace
