Our Region has been invited to participate in the 3 Regions Remembrance Service on our plot at the Arboretum.
If you would like to attend, we recommend that members arrive at the Arboretum around 9:30 am, as it becomes extremely busy with thousands of military personnel, families, and organisations such as ours.
The main Remembrance Service takes place at around 10.45 am. After the official service, Soroptimists, friends, and families make their way to our plot where we hold our own small ceremony, and lay the wreaths.
It is advisable to book parking in advance with a time slot, but you don’t have to stick exactly to that time.
