We take part in a twice yearly Beach Clean and Survey. The survey results are sent to the Marine Conservation Society to contribute towards their national database.
This April we moved our area of operation to St. Bride’s Beach on the north coast of the county.
After storm Hannah the beach had been swept clean and there was little rubbish to be collected.
However there was still a worrying amount of fishing line which is a danger to birds and sea life. It really is a worthwhile task . The Marine Conservation Society have an interesting website www.mcsuk.org
