Our Annual celebration of International Womens Day is back for 2026. The United Nations theme is “Right. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls. This year’s theme calls for action to dismantle the structural barriers to equal justice: discriminatory laws, weak legal protections, and harmful practices and social norms that erode the rights of women and girls.
Join us to celebrate this day with a lovely Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 4 March, 3.30pm to 5.30pm at MK Snap.
This years speaker is from Thames Valley Police Rape team to tell us about their work.
Tickets are £18.00 per person including a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink, sandwiches and homemade cake.
There will be a raffle prize and an auction of a handmade quilt by one of our members.
All donations will help fund an educational “Healthy Relationships” programme being developed for boys with the intention of taking the programme into schools in Milton Keynes.
