International Womens’ Day 2019. ‘Motherwell’ Wellbeing day
On Saturday March 9th S.I Northwich had a stall at the ‘Wellbeing’ event organised by‘Motherwell’ , a Charity Incorporated organisation, based in Cheshire, which we support.
They offer support and counselling,have therapy groups, and arrange ‘Wellbeing ‘ days,
showcasing a variety of services and help available to mothers, especially lone parents, or
those with mental issues.
Cotswold House, another charity we support, was also represented at this event.
This Winsford-based organisation supports homeless women between the ages of 16 and 36.
They have 9 well appointed bedrooms, three of which are large enough to also accommodate a
child up to the age of two. They offer much more than shelter, with workshops for practical skills
such as gardening and cookery, a garden vegetable plot, 24 hour support, access to bikes etc..
