President Maureen and other representatives from SI Rossendale had an enjoyable afternoon at Leyland Golf Club today meeting friends from across the region gathered to celebrate with Leyland on their 44th Charter.
Basking in unseasonal sunshine, President Cath welcomed over 50 Soroptimists, thanking all who had travelled to be with her and the other club members on this special day. Over excellent food and good company guests were intrigued at the promise of a finale of exotic dancing and were not disappointed. There was an enthusiastic welcome for President Cath and her colleagues led by Julie Horner-Kucharski as they treated us to an elegant display of Leabanese belly dancing culminating in one of the most unusual audience participation congas that Leyland Golf Club will have ever seen!
A great day was had by all.
