Toys for Halton Children in need
This is our fourth year supporting Halton Family Hubs.
Thanks to our member Lesley for leading on this – each year we purchase toys to give to local children.
We supply to a need, and this year we were asked to support very young children and babies with toys for the children to open on Christmas Day, the families are also given a food hamper with everything necessary for a good meal on Christmas Day.
We were very pleased this year to be able to purchase £500 of beautiful toys for the children.
Halton Family Hubs, a Halton Borough Council initiative supports children and young people from birth until they reach the age of 19 (or up to 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities). They bring council, health and community services together so that families can access the right support at the right time.
