Teddy Tombola
Each year the club supports Festival in the Park in Frodsham, a community event organised by Rotary International. Our teddy Tombola is really successful and loved by all children – Every ticket a WINNER
The funds raised at the tombola are given to our local Hospice Halton Haven.
Reduce your carbon footprint
Eat seasonal Buy local
As part of the Region Project addressing trafficking and food production the club decided to research food chains locally in order to reduce our carbon footprint and support local producers.
We began the project by researching our local shops farm shops and supermarkets for ethical suppliers. However, it proved to be difficult to establish clean traffic free food chains due to the lack of regulation much of it in the British farming industry.
We produced a seasonal calendar enabled us to publicise a record of locally produced food and when to buy it. We shared this information on our media channels.Calendar of Local and Seasonal Produce
