About our Club

Runcorn & Frodsham Soroptimists

The club was founded in September 1947, Chartered in March 1948, and has been giving service locally and internationally for seventy years, please click here for more about our history.

We are a small and friendly club of around 15 members. We are women of different ages and backgrounds – but the one thing we have in common is that we want to make a difference to the lives of women and girls and at the same time enjoy each other’s company and have some fun.

Although we are a small Club we are active and committed to local and international projects that raise funds for projects, and lobby and raise awareness of issues that help to improve the lives of women and girls.

Please look at our Projects Page to find out more about What we do.

We have a programme of meetings and activities at which we plan and discuss our project work, we may  listen to a speaker who will introduces us to new ideas, we take part in discussions on issues that affect women and girls and generally enjoy being in the company of like- minded women.

The club meets twice a month, once in Frodsham at Castle Park Arts Centre and once at the Golf Club in Runcorn.

Please go to go to the Club Diary page to view our programme.

If you would like to know more or are interested in coming along to one of our meetings please let us know by going to the Contact Us page.
